  • Committed to Inclusive, Child-Led Support: Creating safe, adaptable, and stimulating environments where every child can thrive.

I’ve always loved being surrounded by children, whether as a nursery educator, a children’s bookseller, or caring for younger family members. My passion for supporting children and young people is lifelong, shaped by my family, my love of creative, child-led learning, and my personal experience of neurodiversity in my family.

Outside of work, I live in Leicestershire with my husband and our rescue dog, George. I’m a wild swimmer, crocheter, sewer, and avid reader — hobbies that keep me creative and connected to nature.

My Values & Principles🌻

I believe in providing nurturing and adaptable care where children can thrive, regardless of their background, learning style, or any specific needs, including neurodivergence and other disabilities. My approach is guided by:

  • Inclusivity & Respect: Celebrating each child’s unique strengths and needs.
  • SEND & Neurodiversity Expertise: Extensive experience supporting neurodivergent children and their families.
  • Personal Development & Growth: Fostering confidence, independence, and curiosity in learning and play.
  • Emotional Wellbeing: Creating safe, supportive spaces where children feel understood, respected, and valued.
  • Child-Led, Tailored Approach: Adapting care and mentoring to each child’s interests and abilities, prioritising their enjoyment and sense of security.

Having worked with children with SEND, and with family experience of autism, ADHD, and other neurodivergence, I understand the importance of recognising each child’s unique needs. My own experience with childhood anxiety has shaped my focus on emotional wellbeing, and I approach every child with empathy and patience. I work closely with families to provide support that is nurturing, flexible, and empowering, helping children thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.

If you’re looking for inclusive, child-led care and guidance, I’d love to chat about how I can support your family.
